The transfer

So, on the 11th of January I hopefully got pregnant! Mat, the girls and I went down to Houston on the 9th to spend some time with the IP's and baby S before transfer day. We hung out at the hotel, went swimming, which is kayleigh and Raigan's favorite activity. We went to the Houston zoo on sunday with IF and baby S, it was cool to see her again, she sure has grown a lot! The girls love our IP's, they are like an aunt and uncle to them and baby S is like another cousin. It was nice to see baby and remind the girls that she was once in my belly, and now she is out in the world with her mom and dad :) Both girls understand that we are hopefully helping make a sister or brother (or both) for baby S. 

So day of the transfer, its pretty easy for me. I just show up, sign some papers, and lay in a bed. If you are a woman, and you've had a pap smear, an embryo transfer is pretty much the same procedure, with an added step involving a tube and a syringe. haha. its painless, to me. and then i just lay there for another 15 minutes or so, get wheeled out, and thats it. Mat took the girls to his cousin's house, and I relaxed for quite a while in the hotel. Now we just wait two weeks. Monday the 25th I go in for a blood test to see what my horomone levels are, and if we are pregnant!
